We interviewed over 60 people for the movie: doctors, nurses, patients, politicians, volunteers, and historians. To our wonderful and diverse cast members: what are your feelings about the movie now that you have seen it? How does it feel to have a voice that's now been heard by a wide audience?

It was such a thrill, and a privilege, to have been a part of this very important film. It's now been fifteen years since I retired after a 32 year career with Planned Parenthood. As I pass my 75th year, it seems that the fight for reproductive rights goes on and on with just the focus changing. (This week's supreme court decision further limiting abortion is discouragning, to put it mildly!)
I began my nursing caree in 1957, working in a County Hospital Emergency room. There I cared fora steady stream of women admitted with "incomplete" (self induced) abortions. No one should want to return to those days when some of these women died from sepsis and others became sterile from the scarring.
I am so grateful to Trilobyte for making this film. Those of us who lived through the days before Roe vs Wade need to be sure the stories are told and preserved. I fear the younger generation takes reproductive rights for granted and doesn't realize we are in danger of losing those rights!
To Emily and Dawnee and all the other cast members. your film more than does justice to the ongoing struggle that I fear may not be resolved in my lifetime.
Best wishes!
